  1. Pour hot water over the dates and leave for ~20 minutes.

  2. Drain off the excess liquid, add the banana and blend everything into a smooth puree.

  3. Add the cinnamon, flaked oats and chopped nuts. The oats can also be ground finer before adding. Set aside for ~30 minutes to allow the oats to swell.

  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and form round, flat biscuits with wet hands and place on a baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for ~20-25 minutes.
