  1. Peel the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces and rinse the grits in hot water.

  2. Place the pumpkin and grits in a saucepan, add 300 g of water and cook.

  3. When the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to a minimum and cook until ready, stirring occasionally.
