ingredients

Melnā tēja Apsara Earl Grey 100g

6 Eggs

360 grami Dried fruit and berries (I have 60 g each: apricots, dried cranberries, plums, raisins)

300 grami Carrots

300 grami Kefir 2%

300 grami Whole wheat flour

100 grami Nuts (walnuts for me)

50 grami Orange juice

2 tējkarote Soda

Ginger, gingerbread seasoning

preperation

  1. Kefir is punished and left to act.

  2. Grate the carrot on a fine grater.

  3. Add the eggs, flour and spices to the carrots.

  4.  If necessary, cut in the dried fruit and berries.

  5. Add the cut fruit and berries to the batter.

  6. Place the dough in the tin and bake in the oven at ~160-170 °C for ~50 to 90 minutes (depending on the diameter and depth of the tin. I had a tin of 18-20 cm diameter and quite deep, so it took almost 2 hours to bake. I recommend covering the top with foil to prevent it from burning).

  7. 10 minutes before finishing baking, remove from the oven and drizzle with orange juice.
