Beetroot Soup with Smoked Meat

500 grami Boiled beets

300 grami Smoked meat (any lean meat 150-170 kcal/100 g)

213 grami Rutabaga

165 grami Carrot

160 grami Sour apple

145 grami Bell pepper (paprika)

87 grami Onion

25 grami Garlic

12 grami Chilli pepper

50 grami Greens (parsley, dill)

5 grami Oil

Salt, allspice, bay leaves, black pepper, other spices of your choice.

preperation

  1. Bring the pot to a boil with water.

  2. Meanwhile, prepare all the vegetables: grate the carrots and both types of beets, and chop the chilli peppers.

  3. Cut the rutabaga into cubes. Chop the onion and fry it together with the chopped garlic in a pan with 5 g of oil.

  4. Cut the meat and greens.

  5. Place the potatoes, fresh grated beets, and carrots in the pot first.

  6. Cook until the vegetables are semi-soft, then add the grated cooked beets, chilli, and meat.

  7. Cook until done, then add the greens.

  8. Serve with a spoonful of natural yoghurt.
