Omelette with mushrooms and caraway cheese in a tortilla

Easy and quick to prepare, yet very filling and delicious, this omelette in a tortilla is a great option.

3 Nelielas olas

140 grams Olu baltums

1 Multigrain vai pilngraudu tortilja medium (62 g)

250 grams Sēnes (man šampinjoni)

150 grams Siers (man ķimeņu siers “Līgo”)

55 grams Sīpols

12 grams Ķiploks

5 grams Eļļa

  1. First, cut the mushrooms, onion, and garlic, and fry them in a pan. Cool.

  2. Grate the cheese and cut the scallions.

  3. Beat the eggs with the egg white, salt and spices.

  4. Grease a frying pan with oil and place the tortilla in it (the edges of the tortilla will slightly curl up, forming a 'bowl').

  5. Place the sautéed mushrooms and grated cheese mixed with green onions on the tortilla.

  6. Pour the beaten egg mixture over the top, spread, put a lid on the pan and bake at a very low temperature until ready (~15 minutes until the middle is "set"). Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly. You can also bake it in a deep tin in the oven.
